Nate just had his 4 month check-up. All is normal with him. He had a whole array of vaccines and was upset for less than 30 seconds, and wasn't even that upset during those brief moments. What a trooper! He was 17lbs 2 oz (84th percentile) and 27 1/2" tall. That is super tall - 97th percentile and 3/4" taller than Jack was at that age. His head is still small - around 42nd ptle, but apparently this is no concern as long is stays growing (which it is). The Dr. thought it might also be a bit small because it is less flat than many babies since he spends quite a bit of time upright or on his tummy.
Time to start thinking about new car seats - again. (This seems to be neverending somehow). Nate's infant seat only goes to 29", which I suspect he will hit by 6 months for sure. (Jack was 28 1/2 at 6 months).

He is a big boy! Abby is no squirt and was 27.5" at her 6 month. Granted she's a girl...
