Jack thought the hay ride was by far the best thing. In this he takes after his mom - she always liked that part of camp. Steve was thanking heaven for Claritin, on the other hand:) He also liked playing on the old tractor, seeing the cows, pigs, birds and chickens. We will back again soon I am sure. It is stroller friendly, so bringing baby #2 should be easy enough.

Drumlin Farm
We spent the morning at Drumlin Farm - a working farm and wildlife preserver about 20 minutes away. I had been meaning to bring Jack for a long time, but we needed the push by a visiting college friend of Steve's to make it happen. We visited with her, her husband and their 3 year-old as well as with 2 of her friends plus their families. (One had a barely 2 year old girl and 9 month old twin boys. They had their hands full as you can imagine!).

My lack of posting
is not an indication of any big news. Jack has been spending much of his day with Grandma Anne, who arrived from Michigan to help us out on Sunday evening - not many pictures on my end.
It doesn't look like Jack's brother will be making his appearance super soon. No labor signs I can feel as yet and the OB confirmed that much is happening as yet. I guess the only news is his appearance won't likely be later than the 8th/9th according to my OB. They would induce when I reach about a week past my due date (7/1).

Take me out to the ballgame...
We spent this evening at a Lowell Spinners baseball game. They are a Single A Red Sox team and we had great seats (front row, near the 3rd baseman). We were with a group with which I volunteer with so we get the good ones;/
It was a close game, the Spinners won it in the bottom of the 9th! Also, the man sitting next to me also caught a foul ball. Actually it is lucky he did or I might have had some issues since I didn't have a glove myself!) He was very sweet and gave the ball to Jack since his kids had already been given a ball from the 3rd baseman. Jack was so excited!
Baseball is only part of the attraction, they do silly stunts/acts between innings to keep the kids entertained - Irish dancers, dogs catching Frisbees, people dressed as a toothbrush/tooth fairy. We didn't stay, but after the game you can play catch on the field and they show a movie.
All in all it is a great way to spend the evening and cheap too! A hot dog was $1.75 and even the best tickets are only $8. We can even get there in only about 30 minutes. I am sure we will be back at some point.

Birthday Recap!
Jack had a wonderful time at his birthday party yesterday! It was amazing to have ALL the grandparents here plus 2 Great-grandmas, 2 pairs of Great Aunts/Uncles, 2 of my (Lauren's) cousins and my stepbrother/Jack's uncle! I am not sure Jack has ever had all 6 grandparents in a room at once - certainly not that he can remember.
He won't stop playing with his new trucks, especially.
