We are back from a slightly-over-a-week long trip to Denmark. We had an unexpected ("thanks" to a KLM flight cancellation) day trip to Amsterdam as well.

A great time was had by all!

Jack's 6th Birthday Party

We discovered last year that having the party AFTER the last day of school didn't work so well as so many people would be away. (As we will be this year!), so Jack's party was held last week at Jump On In! an indoor space full of HUGE bouncy obstacles and games. Fun was had by all! He had 14 friends to join him. We also let him open the presents from mom/dad the same day. We couldn't bring them on our upcoming trip and figured he wouldn't want to open them they day we leave and then not be able to use them for 10 days!  His "big" present was a real, kid size work/tool bench. It is adjustable in height and has storage for tools, nails etc. He loves it!
