Note to self...

Don't let Jack eat an entire (child-size) bowl of vanilla ice cream at 7:30pm...he will still be awake (quietly reading thank god) at 10:05... clearly he isn't used to that much sugar.

He is on an eating binge the last 3 weeks or so. Tonight we went to Friendly's and he ate a (kids) grilled cheese sandwich, french fries, a ton of tomato, about the equivalent of a chicken finger, a piece of pickle, about 5 oz of milk and a bowl of ice cream!

After lunch activities

After lunch Jack has taken to requesting to do something creative - yesterday was painting, today was play dough.

Dump Trucks

What does Jack use his dump truck for? To dump trucks of course!

Weird Kid

Today Jack asked to where a bib in the middle of the afternoon for no apparent reason - weird thing number one.

A little while later I gave him a few blueberries in a small black cup. He proceeded to open a low drawer and put all the berries in a small colander. He then ate from the colander directly while standing up in the middle of our kitchen.

I wonder what goes on in his head sometimes (ok, a lot!).

A few Sanibel Pictures

We were in FL for a week (and a day) recently - we had a lovely time and got to visit with lots of relatives including Grandma Anne, great-grandparents (Anne's parents)), Uncle Andy/Aunt Katie and not-quite-a-relative-but-almost Ann (Anne's dear friend).

I managed to download pics from one camera onto an old computer (since mine is still full). The rest will have to wait as it would take forever to download the pictures from my good camera with old USB.

Jack LOVED playing in the sand - I can't wait to get our sandbox going in the backyard. He liked the pool after a bit of acclimation.

We also went to a spring training game. He made it on our laps until the bottom of the 4th despite the fact that he signed to us at the top of the first "all done, down." eek!

The nice vendors at the speed pitch lane let him throw the ball a whole bunch into the back. Jack got a HUGE kick out of this and cried when we made him stop. His (left-handed) pitches didn't clock on the radar...

Way way behind..

sorry folks, still haven't gotten around to getting my new hard drive in. I have a bunch of pics from our recent Florida trip still on cameras!

Maybe tomorrow, if Jack is feeling better (he has a bit of a stomach bug - nothing too serious, but he is pretty clingy), I can sacrifice Steve for a few hours to get things back ship-shape.
