Weekend Visitors and Visits

We had a lovely visit on Saturday with my dad/stepmom and my Grandma Polly.





On Sunday - we had an equally delightful visit with Steve's Grandmother (Magoun) in NH. Jack was less than cooperative with group shots during this visit having not had a nap until our ride home. However, besides that, we had a nice walk around the apartment's grounds, enjoying the weather.

Last weekend Jack got a special surprise - some of my cousin Patrick's dinosaur figures! As you can see Jack is intrigued by them! Thanks Pat!

Uh-oh

He can now open nearly everything within his reach.

He also says "Uh" (just like you would say Uh-oh) when he drops something or trips.

Favorite Toys / Prediction Results

Right now Jack spends much of the day playing in the broom closet (really a huge cabinet) - pushing brooms, mops and banging the swiffer on the ground. He also likes to climb in and out of the cabinet...




Jack was 24lbs 8oz and 31.5 inches. My height guess was dead-on, but apparently our bathroom scale overestimates! He still has an enormous 90+ percentile head, even though his weight gain has tapered a lot. All checked out fine and the doctor seems to think he is a delight. One more reason we think she is a great doc.

They even brought a pumpkin from their yard that said Jack!
