Forgot to mention the news...

we finally have a true crawler!

He has been getting all around for weeks now, but in the last week or so he has finally figured out the standard crawl.

Trying to cruise...

He sometimes moves along the table a little bit, but generally is content to do this...






PS - Someday I will remember I have to hold the camera the other way...

Maybe this is why he doesn't sleep?

Spring Swing

It is, in theory, spring so we decided to Jack for his first swing at the local park. He seemed to enjoy it, even if he was a tad frozen.






In the background of the final picture, on the right, you can see the amazing (blue) slides going down the hill that Steve and I want to go down ourselves. Someday we will have to "demonstrate" for Jack how it is done when nobody is around:)

Easter in CT

We had a whirlwind of family visits this past weekend. Jack had an especially fun time playing the piano! He got a huge kick out of being able to make so much noise. He also enjoyed clapping and then watching about 10 adults clap in response. He did this over and over (probably thinking what are these fools clapping about!).

Another First

The woman that did my first haircut and the makeup for my wedding (the other salon employee did my wedding hair) cut Jack's hair on Saturday. He was good for the first third of it, then totally freaked out, which I am told is totally normal. We can see the top of his ears again and he doesn't have bangs that will fall in his eyes.

21 lbs 14oz
29 1/4 inches

I think the height one is a little off and he is a tad taller than that. It is a somewhat subjective measurement with a squirming baby. He is now "only" 75th percentile for height/weight but still is 95th for head size.

Cheeri-uh-oh

So Jack picks up cheerios and puts them in his mouth. He then takes a chomp or two (with his teeth even) and then it ends up here. I think some more practice is in order...
